The Montezuma Historical Society, as a non-profit, relies on the generosity of its members to achieve its mission. Your membership ensures the Society can continue to provide research, exhibitions, and exciting public programs. Please join us and learn more about Montezuma history. Members received our newsletters, free admission to programs, and a 10% discount on our gift items.
Volunteers are vital to the Montezuma Historical Society’s overall functioning and mission. Throughout the year the Society holds a series of programs and special events, which rely on volunteers. Programs include special exhibits, lectures, historic walking tours and fundraisers. If you would like to volunteer your time to the Society, or would like more information, please check out the many ways you can serve the community through our organization.
Many generous Montezuma Historical Society members are helping to ensure the future of the organization for many generations. You, too, can help by making a planned gift, a contribution specifically designed for the Historic Mentz Church preservation, a family dedicated pew or window, or become a special Friend of the Montezuma Heritage Park. Remember your donations are tax deductible!
A new Commemorative Brick Walkway Project has begun in Montezuma Heritage Park to help fund and develop a new walkway in the Butterfly Garden area off High Street at the Park Trailhead entrance. Bricks may be purchased, imprinted and placed in the new sidewalk at the gazebo in the Butterfly Garden. Families and/or individuals can be honored for a $50 tax-deductible donation. The 4″ x 6″ bricks can be inscribed with three lines (minimum of 14 characters per line) to honor living or deceased individuals. A form may be download here to order the bricks.
